UNDP-GRIPS Development Forum Public Seminar “Sigrid Kaag Talks @ GRIPS Challenges and Opportunities for Sustainable Development”
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is pleased to announce the Public Seminar on “Challenges and Opportunities for Sustainable Development” featuring Ms. Sigrid Kaag, UN Assistant Secretary-General and UNDP Partnerships Bureau Director. Ms. Kaag has had a long and distinguished career with the United Nations and assumed the current position in 2010. She is responsible for external partnerships with donor governments, civil society and private sector as well as advocacy activities in the organization. In the Public Seminar, it is planned to hold dialogues with MOFA’s director-in-charge and participants. RVSP.

Reference of Sigrid Kaag:
Ms. Sigrid Kaag (Netherlands) was appointed by the Secretary-General as Assistant Secretary-General and Assistant Administrator and Director of the Partnerships Bureau of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) by the Secretary-General in 2010. Ms. Kaag previously served as the Regional Director for Middle East and North Africa with UNICEF in Amman, Jordan since 2007. Prior to this, she served as the Chief of Staff of the Executive Director and as Deputy Director of Programmes of UNICEF in New York.
